“ SK has become one of my favorite ethnic (ie., default - I usually only cook ethnic dishes anyway) markets. I'm so glad it survived the Eaton fire, as it's definitely the best market in Altadena. Prices for meat, liquor, and produce are simply unbeatable. And SK carries more specialty items that I purchase all the time all in one place (like foods for cooking Mexican dishes, pelmeni, and middle eastern foods). Not a huge selection of Asian foods compared to their other categories, but we have plenty of Asian markets around for that. Sometimes you have to wait for parking as SK is always fairly busy, but you will always eventually find parking. Water fill outside. Clean inside. Great staple neighborhood market! ”
